A Level Results 2016

With 82% of A Level entries being graded as A*- C and 61% of A Level entries being graded at A*- B, students and staff are quite right to celebrate. 42% of students achieved three or more A levels or equivalent at A* - B and 97% of students achieved at least 3 A Levels or equivalent.

Gaining such excellent qualifications at this level and securing university places is far more demanding than it has ever been in the past and bucks national trends.  Just last year, the former Community School turned Aspirations Academy received the highest accolade from Ofsted, being recognised as “Outstanding” for the first time and is now celebrating the best-ever Post 16 results in its 80-year history.

Rivers Academy was alive with excitement as students collected their results and prepared to launch the next stage of their amazing journey, confirming their places at top universities, including Oxford, across the country.   Many students had already received their university offers online, but chose to come early to celebrate with staff at the Academy which has supported them since Key Stage 3.
